Over $8 million dollars worth of cars crushed publicly in Philippines to deter illegal imports.

Several supercars were crushed including a Lamborghini Gallardo and several late model Porsches, alongside luxury vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW and Audi. We also spy a Nissan R34 and a Nissan GTiR among the deceased automobiles :'(
The ordeal was live streamed by the Philippines government to their facebook page.
A total of 68 contraband luxury vehicles with an estimated value of more than $8m AUD, and 8 contraband luxury motorbikes from Harley Davidson, Triumph, and Chopper manufacturers worth more than $500,000 AUD, were publicly wrecked by the use of a backhoe and bulldozer before the President and Secretary Raul Lambino who is the current Administrator and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA).
The condemnation activity is part of the administration's campaign against smuggling and corruption in the government.
